Pretty sure that same God wants their human beings to catch up and do the same.

Dear Friends,
I write to share this letter from our Area Conference Minister Ruth Fitzgerald, who has faithfully served the Grand West Association since March 2019, announcing her retirement. While I did not get near as much time with Ruth as I would want, I will always be grateful for her warm welcome and wisdom in my first year. On behalf of the Michigan Conference, I thank God for Ruth’s ministry, for the chance to thank her in the months ahead, and for the blessings she shares about her ongoing vocation, in this letter to us all.

Winter Retreat for Michigan Youth
What do you get when you put 22 youth, 6 youth advisors, and a Conference Minister together?
A whole lot of FUN!!
Youth and leaders from 4 Michigan Conference UCC churches gathered for a Youth Winter Retreat January 28-29, 2023. Youth also had the opportunity to attend worship led by Rev. Dr. Lillian Daniel. A special thanks to all who were present, and all who helped support and organize this wonderful opportunity for fellowship. Youth shared that they love how the church helps them find friends, builds community, teaches them new things, and feeds them!!
It was a wonderful weekend filled with all that, and MORE!!
